Scale:Unknown. A full hull model of a Maltese Gozo made entirely from either cast or sheet silver metal. The double-ended hull is fitted with high stem and stern posts to which is rigged a rudder with tiller at the stern and a running bowsprit rigged with a triangular headsail over the bow. Internally, it is partially decked at the bow and stern and it is fitted with frames, bottomboards, two mast thwarts and removable washstrakes with provisions for four pairs of oars. The two masts are rigged with tall and raking lateen yards to which the sails are bent on or lashed. The whole model is mounted on a pair of cup-shaped crutches fixed to a carved wooden elliptically shaped base with an ebonised finish. There are a series of hall marks stamped into the keel amidships on the port side.
