Plaque inscribed "TSS Ayrshire 460' 0" x 59' - 0" x 34' - 11 1/2" R & W Hawthorne Leslie & Co Ltd Shipbulders & Engineers Newcastle-on-Tyne. Messrs Turnbull Martine & Co London". Depth gauge and plimsoll lines present.
