Shamrock III (1903); Recreation vessel; Yacht
Scale: 1:24.A half plating model of the port side of the racing yacht 'Shamrock III' made entirely in wood and painted. The hull is painted white and marked with the positions of plates and annotated with measurements and names of the key components. The horizontal rows of plates are numbered from ‘511’ to ‘51’ with the alternating terms ‘In’ and ‘Out’. Hull features include a deep, elongated keel and rudder. The model is attached to a rectangular wooden storage backboard.
