Scale: not calculated. This model represents a group of steamers built by the Goole Shipbuilding and Repairing Co. Ltd., Goole, and the Dundee Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., Dundee, in 1915. They were commissioned for and operated by the Admiralty during the First World War. It is highly likely that these ships would have been used for supplying the British Army on the Continent with munitions and general stores.
This is a basic model, stripped of any unnecessary detail, possibly as a result of wartime economies, but it allows one to concentrate on the hull form, layout and principal features of the design.
