Admiralty trawler 'MFV645' 1944

Scale: not calculated. ‘MFV645’ was a forty-five foot motor fishing vessel built for the Admiralty and launched about 1944.The vessel depicted by the model was built and engined by the Medway New Steam Packet Company Ltd, of Rochester, Kent. Everything about the trawler, and indeed the model, is solid and robust. The pair of wales that girdle the entire hull have been further reinforced with vertical sections between them; the derrick crane is a simple, straightforward affair located directly forward of the single square hatch cover; even the bow fender is large and resilient.
