Fishing vessel; Trawler

Scale: 1:32. A shipbuilders plating model of a diesel Lowestoft near water trawler made entirely in wood and constructed in the bread-and-butter fashion. The hull has been painted ivory white with the moveable superstructure above painted white. The hull has been marked with extensive constructional details which include the size and disposition of the: frames, hull plates, scuttles and freeing ports, weld lines and joints, as well as interior features such as the location of the bulkheads for bunkers and machinery. The superstructure is marked in black ink with portholes, glazed windows on the bridge and a large aperture around the stern. The model is mounted on a black, gloss painted backboard with a raised square edging. The yard number 4468447 is written on the rudder.

The lines of the vessel are stirkingly similar to the 'Mincarlo' built at Brooke Marine, Lowestoft in 1961.
