Bardic (1957); Ionic (1957); Passenger vessel; Ferry
Scale: Unknown. A model of the starboard side of Bardic (1957 and Ionic (1957) made entirely in wood and varnished. The hull is marked to show individual plates (marked from "A" to "K"), decks, portholes, bow rudder and other features. The superstructure is long and placed forward of amidships and is marked by a long row of port holes which have been coloured red and green. The foredeck, and aft deck are devoid of detail. A rubbing strake at the waterline runs for most of the length of the hull and there are two shorter strakes above it near the bow. The anchor stowage and propeller shaft recess is indicated. The hull sides and stern are straight sided. The model is displayed on a plywood backboard. On the hull side is "No 1489 & 1493".
