Fiery Cross (1957); Service vessel; Tug
Scale: 1:96. This model is displayed in its original case along with two others, ‘Hutton Cross’ (SLR1697) and 'Caedmon Cross' (SLR1661). An attached plaque reads ‘M.T. “Fiery Cross” 95'6’ x 26'6’ 1500 B.H.P. heavy harbour, coastal and rescue tug based in the River Tees. The “Kort” rudder greatly increases towing power and manoeuvrability Bridge controlled and one of the most powerful tugs in the United Kingdom commissioned 1957’.
