Equipment model; Anchor model
Scale: Unknown. A model of a Hall's stockless anchor as improved by Joseph Wright & Co. Ltd. The model is made entirely from an alloy. The shank is square in section with two slightly rounded sides and tapers down towards the swivelling crown section. The crown, arms and flukes have been cast in a single piece and consist of a rectangular section held together by two large bolts underneath the crescent-shaped arms. Either side of the arms is a flat, rounded fluke in a horizontal plane which is at right angles to the stock. The flukes are joined to the arms in a vertical plane and are mounted vertically at 180 degrees to the shank. At the top of the shank is a single swivelling, elongated D-shackle. The shank has been cast with the inscriptions: 'HALLS STOCKLESS ANCHOR' and 'JOSEPH WRIGHT & Co LTD MAKERS TIPTON ENGLAND'.
