Scale: Unknown. A model of a Hall's anchor improved by H.P. Parkes & Co Ltd. The model is made entirely in metal and gold plated. The shank is square in section, one face is inscribed along its length "H.P. Parkes & Co Ltd.". At the top of the shank there is a D-ring that pivots on a rivet. The shank pivots on the crown through an arc of approximately 80 degrees. The bottom of the crown is slightly convex and there is a rectangular aperture through which the bottom of the shank can be seen. The pivoting mechanism is held in place using two plates and a pair of bolts which are themselves held in place with a pair of split pins. The arms are slightly convex and on their upper face the flukes sweep upwards vertically to approximately half the height of the shank.
