Equipment model; Anchor model
Scale: Unknown. Model of a Hall's patent anchor, made entirely in brass which has been either plated or lacquered. The shank is rectangular in section and has a D-ring shackle that swivels on a round-headed rivet at the top. On two sides of the shank are inscriptions: 'Halls patent' and 'Jessops Steel'. The crown has a large rectangular aperture through which the base of the shank can be seen. The shank pivots on the crown through an arc of about seventy five degrees. Two flat arms sweep up from the crown and extend upwards terminating in a pair of arrow-shaped flukes.
