Equipment model; Anchor model
Scale: Unknown. A model of a Dunn's No.2 anchor sanctioned in 1910, and made entirely in aluminium alloy which is patinated or oxidised a dark grey colour. The shank is square in section, the top of which is an elongated D-shackle that pivots on a flush rivet. The crown has a square base with a rectangular aperture in the centre through which the bottom of the shank can be seen. The shank pivots on the crown through an arc of approximately ninety degrees. The arms are flat bottomed and the flukes are vertical to a height of about 3/4 that of the shank. The palms are twice inscribed: 'American Steel Foundries' and 'Dunn'.
