Equipment model; Anchor model

Scale: Unknown. A model of a Canadian Steel Foundries patent anchor sanctioned in 1908. The model is made entirely in aluminium and patinated or oxidised a dark matt grey colour. The shank is rectangular in section, at the top of which is a D-ring. The shank pivots on the crown. The bottom of the crown has a rectangular aperture through which the bottom of the shank can be seen. There are ridges protruding along the length of the flukes. On one side the ridges end with a circular and diamond shaped pattern. The shank pivots on the crown through an arc of approximately 80 degrees.
