Equipment model; Anchor model
Scale: Unknown. A model of a Homer's Atlas anchor sanctioned in 1904, made entirely in iron and lead and painted black. The shank is rectangular in section at the top of which is a D-ring that pivots on a round headed rivet. The shank pviots on the crown through an arc of approximately 75 degrees. On either side of the shank there are two metal bars secured by bolts and nuts. The bottom of the crown has a rectangular aperture through which the shank can be seen. The arms are flat bottomed and the flukes are vertical with a concave indentation along the length.
