Scale: Unknown. A model of an unidentified stockless anchor. The model is made entirely from iron and consists of a tapering shank, which is rectangular in section finishing in a large circular bracket at the crown, through which passes the swivelling U-shaped arms. The arms are circular in section and turn through ninety degrees and run parallel with the shank and eventually taper and flatten finishing in a square palm with a point at the top. Where the arms pass through the shank there is a lug on either side to allow a maximum movement of ninety degrees from side to side.
