Equipment model; Anchor model
Scale: Unknown. A model of a trip gear anchor (circa 1870) with independent trip gear, made entirely in iron. The model is stockless and has a flat crown with two conventional flukes that pivot through an arc of about 90 degrees. The model is mounted on the crown, and located between the flukes and the shank are a pair of small flukes with flat tops which pivot independently through 90 degrees.
