Equipment model; Anchor model; Sectional model

Scale: 1:24. A model of a wooden anchor stock of twenty one feet of the usual plan. The model is made entirely from a fruitwood which has been lightly varnished. The model consists of two sections held together with three wooden dowels. This produces a rectangular shape with a tapering lower face as well as tapering towards the ends in the plan view. There is a square aperture where the shank of the anchor passes through, while externally there are four square shaped hoops marked on in ink together with the inscriptions: 'Anchor stock of 21 feet', 'Square 21 Inches', and 'No.1 Shewing the Whey of making an Anchor Stock' marked on the vertical faces.
