Equipment model; Anchor model
Scale: Unknown. A model of a double fluke anchor as proposed by Mr Christopher. The model is made entirely of either bronze or brass with a lacquered finish and consists of a pair of flat shanks with rounded edges which form a triangular shape and finish with a pair of oval-shaped flukes. The double flukes and crowns are held in position by a horizontal, rectangular-shaped bar, the centre of which has been drilled to take either a shackle or rope for tripping and stowing the anchor. The top of the shank is rounded, drilled and complete with a circular anchor ring.
