Equipment model; Anchor model
Scale: Unknown. A model of a proposed Admiralty pattern anchor with a close stowing stock. The model is made entirely from metal, the main body is probably iron which has been galvanised? The shank is flat sided and oval in section and tapers down to the rounded crown. There are arms and flat flukes at each end. The iron stock passes through the shank in a rounded section just below the anchor ring. The stock is complete with a metal fidded wedge and chain which, when removed, allows for close stowage aboard ship.
