Equipment model; Anchor model

Scale: Unknown. A model of an unidentified stockless anchor made entirely in iron. The shank, which tapers and is square in section, is made from three flat lengths of iron bolted together in three places. The shank bulges near the top where a circular hole passes through it. Above this is a D-ring shackle that is attached to the shank by one of the bolts and upon which the shank swivels. Below the lowermost bolt, at the bottom of the shank, is a large circular hole through which the arms pass. Forming part of the casting of the arms, hanging from underneath, are two much smaller arms set at a right angle from the larger ones. The bottom of these smaller arms form the crown of the anchor. The larger arms terminate vertically in a pair of small flukes.
