Equipment model; Anchor model

Scale: Unknown. A model of a single-fluked anchor, possibly a Wasteney Smith type, date unknown. The model is made entirely in iron and is corroded. The shank is broadly rectangular in section and has a large ring at the top which passes through an eye. Below it is mounted a simple iron stock. The bottom of the shank bends at an angle slightly less than 90 degrees to form the single triangular-shaped fluke. At the point, or crown, a D-ring is attached by a rivet. The ring pivots through an arc of about 120 degrees.
