Scale: 1:360. A topographical model depicting cargo handling at the Royal Albert Dock, River Thames, London about 1926. Model includes the vessels Dalgoma (1923), Framlington Court (1924) and Port Dunedin (1925). The ships and topography have all been realistically painted. The model depicts a section of the Royal Albert Dock with a narrow strip of quay side on one side of the dock and a wider strip on the opposite side. The narrow strip of quay side shows eight cranes with two sections of warehouses behind them. Six dumb barges and a Thames sailing barge are moored along side. The wide strip of quay side depicts two warehouses and 10 cranes. Lorries and rail carriages are shown and there are numerous dumb barges surrounding the two ships at their berths. A crane barge is depicted and a tug is shown with a large piece of machinery under tow. On port and starboard bows 'Dalgoma', on stern 'Dalgoma Glasgow', and on port and starboard bows 'Framlington Court' . On model 'Kenneth Britten'.
