Warship

Scale: Unknown. Model of a ram bow as fitted to a warship made entirely of wood. The model shows the lower part of the ram bow consisting of a forward pointing section which has been reinforced by a horizontal oval shaped flange fitted on either side and just below the waterline. It would appear that the main bulk of the model has been hollowed out with a thin deck applied, the whole of which has been screwed to a vertical backboard and painted black. In a couple of places around the flanges are the remains of a copper coloured paint possibly to indicate copper sheathing.
