Accommodation model; Sectional model

Scale: Unknown. A model of a powder room/magazine made entirely of wood. Model depicts a section of a ship's powder room or magazine and consists of a tall rectangular wooden frame supported by a series of adjustable horizontal slats. The model is divided longitudinally and has a total of twenty-two wooden barrels which have been turned from a solid piece of wood and are complete with a series of wooden hoops. One end of each barrel is painted a creamy white colour with a square varnished panel which has been annotated by hand to indicate the contents of each barrel. The whole model and baseboard has been painted a very dark grey.
