HMS Galatea (1859); Warship; 26 guns
Scale: Unknown. A model of the starboard stern frame of HMS Galatea (1859) made entirely in wood and stained and varnished to a dark brown finish. The model shows the propeller housing and wale, keel section, rudder post, deadwood, and propeller shaft tunnel. All the full frames are shown in position. The model is displayed on a rectangular mahogany baseboard with straight bevelled edges on two sides and a support piece with scrolled decoration.
