Sectional model; Frame model
Scale: Unknown. A model showing an arrangement of framing proposed by Sir Robert Seppings (circa 1813), consisting of a cross piece, two half floors and two first futtocks. The model is made of wood in six sections, the frame parts being arranged in two latitudinal rows, held together by metal eye bolts. The model has been stained and varnished a dark brown colour. The wooden parts all have either pegs or receiving holes at each end to facilitate accurate locating. A paper label has been applied marked "17".
