Frame model; Sectional model; Square stern

Scale: Unknown. A sectional model of a square stern made in frame. The model is made almost entirely of wood with brass pins and fittings, and is finished in its natural state with a light coating of varnish. It consists of a section of keel, deadwood, and sternpost, wing transoms, vertical counter timbers, and four pairs of ribbands. The sternpost is fitted with a pair of brass gudgeons for securing the rudder (missing). On the upper section of the model there are a further three pairs of ribbands supporting the top timbers and upper stern structure. At the top portion of the sternpost: 'E5' have been stamped into the wood.
