Warship

Scale: Unknown. A model of the stern of a warship showing the method of raising and lowering the propeller made entirely in wood with metal fittings and painted in realistic colours. The hull is painted pink below the waterline, black above with two white stripes along the gun decks. The section face is painted grey, the deck is cream and the inboard bulwarks are green. The gun ports are shown open, indicated by black squares with red highlighting. The stern and quarter gallery windows are realistically painted and an open gallery with a balustrade encompasses the propeller well. The two bladed propeller is painted gold and is secured to a frame which passes through the well.
