Scale: Unknown. Section of the lower part of a ship, showing the propeller shaft passing through the deadwood and stern post. The planking of the deadwood has been depicted. The model has been made entirely from wood and the planking has been grained. The propeller shaft and inner faces of the deadwood framing have been painted black. The model is mounted on a plain rectangular wooden baseboard, the upper face of which is painted black and the sides have been painted green. A paper label has been applied to the baseboard marked "19". A display label from the South Kensington Museum reads "Model shewing propeller shaft passing through the dead-wood and stern post".
