Kilner's Grab Link
Scale: Unknown. A patent model of Kilner's grab link made entirely from steel. The main body or bed is a t-shaped piece of metal, drilled with two holes for securing it to the deck and a groove running centrally to guide the anchor chain to and from the chain locker and hawse pipe. There is a pointed d-shaped shackle which would 'stop' the movement of the anchor chain, with an eye to take some form of either metal or rope fastening for safe stowage.
The model has been stamped "KILNER'S PATENT GRAB LINK" on one side of the bed.
