Third rate 74 gun warship (circa 1826)
Scale: Unknown. Model of a section of hull and main channel on a third rate 74 gun warship (circa 1826), with the deadeyes as usually fitted. The model has been carved from wood, the inboard side undetailed and painted an off-white colour. The exterior has been realistically painted with black and white alternating horizontal bands. Three gun ports are depicted on the main deck, three gun ports on the gun deck and two gun ports on the lower deck. Four deadeyes are depicted in two groups of four. The model is mounted on a simple wooden baseboard, which is painted dark green on the side adjacent to the exterior hull of the model and off-white on the other side.
