Component model; Mast model

Scale: Unknown. Model of a lower masthead and crosstree made in mahogany and stained a dark brown colour. The upper part of the mast is square in section and the heel is octagonal in section. The lower most part of the mast is round in section and has a square shaped peg on the end. The octagonal section has a paper label applied to one face marked "60". The crosstree is formed of six pieces of wood arranged, two longitudinally and three transversely. On either side of the longitudinal pieces there are two rounded support brackets and a hinged brass bar for locking the pivet fid.
