Scaling ladder

Scale: Unknown. Model of a scaling ladder comprising of five individual wooden ladders held together by iron square bands and rope lashings, each ladder is identical in size and comprises of six rungs. The ladders are joined using an extended rung at the top of each and a slot which is cut out of the base of each ladder fitting over the rung. This joint is further strengthened by the iron bands and rope lashings. The ladders are built from square section timber with four turned rungs and two rectangular rungs at the base and top of each ladder. There is a short rope lanyard at the top of the ladder for securing it to the object or obstacle being scaled.
