Passenger vessel; Punt; Norfolk punt
Scale: Unknown. A full hull model of a Norfolk river punt (19th century) made entirely in wood and painted or patinated a dark brown finish. The hull is flat-bottomed and double-ended and is formed of several stout planks that have been carved or gouged out from within. Fittings include four metal hoops fixed to the gunwales at the port and starboard bows and quarters; a pair of dowel-like thwarts, circular in section, at the bow and stern; and a provision at the stern for the punt oar. On label ‘Rothes F3 10’.
