Warship

Scale: Unknown. Half block models of the starboard side of the bow and stern of a warship made entirely in wood and painted in realistic colours. The hull of both models is painted brick red below the waterline, with a narrow white stripe above and black above the waterline. The bow section has a recessed area close to the starboard bow and the stern section has a similar recessed part close to the stern quarter. The stern part also has provision for a single propeller. The models are mounted on a rectangular wooden backboard with a space between them. The backboard is painted off-white with a bevelled mahogany edge. On plaque affixed to the bottom centre of the backboard in the gap between the two hulls ‘Half models, bow & stern, showing plan of indented ports. Class 1 Div. B.’.
