Scale: 1:12. A half block model of the port side of a steam life cutter made entirely in wood with metal fittings and painted in realistic colours. The hull is painted white overall with an unpainted wooden gunwale. Fittings include short or stump foremast; a single tall funnel painted or patinated a dark brown or grey; open cockpit area with wash strake; large rudder with a tiller whose arm curves back on itself; and a single and unusual-shaped propeller. The model is displayed on a rectangular mahogany backboard with a simple oak frame.
