Tank testing model; Sectional model

Scale: Unknown. Instructional sectional model depicting the clay mould for the first stage of making a wax hull for a tank testing model. The metal casing is painted brown and has a white plaster insert. It is one of a series of five midship sections together with black and white photographs showing the stages in production of a wax tank testing model, all sharing the same glass and wooden display case: see SLR 2897, SLR 2898, SLR 2899 and SLR 2900.
