Agatha; Cargo vessel
Scale: not calculated. A cargo barquentine depicted with set sails, the ‘Agatha’ (late 19th century?) is depicted on stocks that form part of the model’s baseboard. It is a large, well-made model of an attractive subject. The rigging, particularly of the jib-boom, is very good. The fact that it has such a detailed figurehead may indicate that it depicts an actual vessel though a barquentine of that name has not been identified.
