Unknown vessel

Scale: Unknown. A full hull model of an experimental hull made entirely in wood and painted. The hull is painted off-white with a broad black stripe running its entire length just above the waterline. The model depicts a vessel with four buoyancy tubes running whole length of hull and suspended beneath it. The tubes all have pointed projections at the bow (middle pair of projections missing) and terminate at the stern in four vertical fins to which are attached rudders (outer pair of rudders appear to be missing, if originally fitted). The buoyancy tubes are all the same diameter. The hull is hollow and has a deck laid, stained a dark red-brown finish. The deck has three large diameter circular beds, set inline, with raised circumferences (foremost bed missing) and apertures at their centres. The stern appears to have provision for working the middle pair of rudders.
