Unknown vessel
Scale: not calculated. We know nothing about the model, its date of manufacture, or what it depicts. The model’s one interesting feature is that it has a turtle deck, which means that it has a pronounced curve from the centreline of the vessel down to its sides. The purpose of the feature is to assist the flow of seawater that is shipped over the bows, particularly in heavy weather, off the deck. The absence of detail might indicate that the model was used for tank testing.
