Maid of Kent (1958); Passenger vessel; Ferry

Scale: Unknown. A half block model of the port side lower stern section of the passenger ferry Maid of Kent (1958) made entirely in wood and polished. The section shows the port side propeller shaft casing, the support for it and the area of hull to which it is attached. The surface is inscribed with solid and dotted lines in fine black penwork denoting plates which are also annotated. The model is currently displayed on a rectangular wooden storage backboard. On port broadside ‘1492’. On reverse of model ‘NR’.
