Full hull model

Scale : Unknown. A full hull model of a shallow draft paddle steamer made in wood, stained and varnished a mid-brown colour. The model shows extension gratings to the sides of the vessel, making a continuous wide deck. Paddle boxes are positioned between the gratings, though the port side box and both paddles are missing. The model is horizontally planked along the hull and the deck is scored to simulate planking. The deck shows several features - a rectangular well at the bow possibly for a bow rudder, provision for masts fore and aft which are now missing, deckhouses fore and aft, companionway covers fore and aft, and an aperture and space amidships for a large deck house and funnel, both missing. There is also a rectangular well in the deck at the stern with a bar that pivots on an axis and can be raised and lowered possibly for a rudder. At the stern a bound quantity of timbers protect the stern area. There are rails both at the stern and amidships for tying off.
