Full hull model

Scale: Unknown. A full hull model of a shallow draught river vessel with extension gratings around the upper deck. The model has been made in wood and has a deck made in five sections, three of which can be removed (the foremost one is missing). The hull is diagonally planked and is stained and varnished a mahogany colour. The superstructure is basically detailed, with two deckhouses indicated by sawn wood blocks painted yellow, positioned transversely and placed forward of two black-painted collapsible mast housings. The centre of the deck has a tall black-painted funnel and forward of it a large deckhouse, painted yellow, with wooden doors fore and aft, and a black roof. Parts of the extension grating along the sides are missing, as are parts of the diagonal hull planking. What could possibly be a wheel is missing on the foredeck but there remains evidence of it's original position. The decks sit on slender transverse wooden beams and metal plate bulkheads positioned at the extreme fore and aft ends. Between the bulkheads, the hold is planked with horizontal timbers and painted off-white. Abaft of the rearmost bulkhead, a v-shaped incision in the bow contains a metal provision for sliding an unidentified item, possibly a rudder.
