Equipment model; Mast model

Scale: Unknown. Model of part of a mast which has been made from wood and stained a uniform dark brown colour. The model is in three parts, the section of mast is rectangular in section at the bottom and tapers in the middle to an octagon shape and then tapers again so that the top section is cylindrical. Set into the rectangular section is a brass swivel clip which holds the mast in position. The octagonal section has a wheel set into it for working ropes. The second part of the model is a mast cap which appears to fit onto the mast section through a circular aperture. The cap also has a square aperture, the remains of four eyes, a large illegible cardboard label that has been nailed to one end of the cap, and a square piece of wood with a semi-circular groove in one face that has been tied with string to one of the eyes.
