HMS 'Pique' (1834)
Scale: Unknown. A model of the lower hull of HMS 'Pique' (1834) divided horizontally to show damage to the keel, stem and deadwood. The model has been made in wood, and the external hull has been scored to simulate planking. The model has been stained all over a dark brown colour. The damage has been meticulously shown with metal bolts protruding at intervals. The model is mounted on two turned wooden pillar supports, painted gold, and secured to a simple black painted rectangular wooden baseboard. A paper label marked "1" has been applied to the middle of the upper edge of the port side. The remains of a paper label can also be found at one corner of the baseboard.
