Spirit of Devon; Service vessel; Fisheries patrol vessel
Scale: not calculated. A working model of ‘Spirit of Devon,’ a twin-screw fisheries patrol vessel, whose cabin area lifts off to gain access to the motor and radio control equipment (no longer with the model). Given that it has been made to use on water, the model is basic and robust, made from plywood and Plasticard, with clear plastic for the window areas, and all the lettering applied with Letraset. Its swept back lines are more like a large racing speed boat. We have not been able to trace a vessel of this name.
