Equipment model; Anchor model

Scale :Unknown. Model of the top of a standard pattern anchor stock showing the stages in construction of of a common anchor and made entirely of polished iron. The head consists of a rectangular section with a circular hole at one end to receive the anchor ring and a pair of small shoulders halfway down to support the stock. Below this section the shank is rounded with two flat sides and tapers out towards the lower end. The shank has been cut diagonally to show its shape in section. The model is stamped with the numbers "1", "1", "3", "8".
