Sectional model
Scale: Unknown. Instructional sectional model depicting the third stage of making a wax hull for a tank testing model. It depicts the wax hull removed from the mould in its raw state, before shaping to the required high level of accuracy. It is one of a series of five midship sections together with black and white photographs showing the stages in production of a wax tank testing model, all sharing the same glass and wooden display case: see SLR 2626, SLR 2897, SLR 2899 and SLR 2900.
