Warship

Scale: Unknown. A model of a section of gundeck and hull with a muzzle loading gun on a sliding and pivoting gun carriage made in wood and metal and painted in realistic colours. The gundeck is semi-circular and stained and varnished a mid brown finish. The hull section is painted black on the outside with a narrow white stripe and white gunwhale. The inboard section is painted white and the inner faces of the single gunport are red. The gun is turned from a single piece of wood, painted black, with trunnions and a metal hook is inserted into the cascabel. The carriage is attached to a fixing beneath the gunport on which it pivots and the carriage slides back and forth on a single rail. The carriage is equipped with four small wooden trucks.
