Ordnance model; Gun model
Model of a proposed muzzle-loading gun. The barrel is turned in wood and painted black. It is mounted on a simplified carriage in natural wood and varnished. Inside the carriage is the spring and mechanism for releasing the trigger and firing the gun. It would appear that part of this firing mechanism is missing. The model is numbered "54" and the underside of the carriage has an illegible inscription written in pencil.
